 Midlothian Association of Play

Howgate Village Hall is lucky to be under the banner of the Midlothian Association of Play
Not only has forming this partnership been beneficial for the children from local
and surrounding areas, but it has also offered local residents
the opportunity of occasional part time work.

MAP sponsors a playscheme at Howgate in the Easter and Summer Holidays.
It also offers opportunities for staff and volunteer training as well as
organised play days for the children.

MAP also provides the opportunity to purchase resources from their base,
it allows groups to stock up on materials for arts and crafts at a reduce cost or
hire larger equipment at an acceptable rate.

If anyone is interested or would like to work with children
please contact Shirley Neil (Development Worker) on:  01875 823 846.

All volunteers and workers hold Disclosure certification.
